In all seriousness, thank you fur being sane about this. There are an awful lot of perfectly horrible people cheering this on. It's been going on a while now. Political violence has been going on a while now in the US, longer than we like to think about. Weather Underground crazies were blowing people up 50+ years ago. What has changed since then is, I think, the perception that used to exist, that political violence is the exclusive province of a tiny handful of crazy people everyone else immediately denounces.
Every time something like this happens, I'm more disappointed, but less surprised. Escalating political violence, and that is what this clearly is, tells me that we in the US are going we really don't want to go. History tells me that this train has no brakes. This isn't going to end well.
I am just one person, just one anonymous voice in the darkness of the Interwebs. Everything about this horrifies and disgusts me, and fills me with fear and despair about what's coming. I never asked fur any of this, but, like the man says, the avalanche has started and it's too late fur the pebbles to vote, I guess.
