From what I looked up, yes. She's just an 'anthro-ified' version of the character named Rao in the top right of the second pic

you can't flag a thread to be automatically archived once it hits the limit?

Maybe floof could but I think that would just be a setting of the board or something and not a mod action.
>>8185
Why are archives necessary? Just let the thread hit bump limit, and slide off the catty while a new /fobgs #2/ takes it's place

>>8189
Me neither, /archive/ shouldn't exist. Even /art/ threads shouldn't be archived, the art is already saved on a MEGA and the respective artist's twitter. The art threads are fur socializing and discussion about art, not preserving it. Threads should hit bump limit and naturally slide off.
Replies: >>8195
>>8194
The peace of mind of knowing that the thread'll still be around in case I start feeling sentimental about a particular interaction or artwork is nice. Maybe it is better fur all of this to remain [slightly more] ephemeral [than it already is]. I still think about a few mundane exchanges and anons from years ago on a fairly regular basis, I would've probably furgotten sooner had it not been fur archival sites; it would have been better than way, I'm sure...
Replies: >>8196
>>8195
Well we don't have a archival site like the 4chan, and you could always use archive.ph/webarchive. I think dedicated archival tools are better than trying to hack an archive system into an image board where the whole purpose is day to day interaction not preserving everything like Reddit or furum oriented communities.
