Some possible explanations:
1) Fewer baseline drawings. It helps having more references of what her body looks like exactly from all angles, especially for a beginner artist. There is no reference sheet either.
1.5) Less lore. Fiddle put Averi in all sorts of situations doing silly things and then the fans did the same. Robin is vidya and electronics-related. She was also seen in a school environment and wears what appears to be a school outfit. Sometimes she is seen cosplaying but people tend to forget that and only focus on the school uniform.
1.6) Robin does not have any canonical feet/paw pics, afaik. People seem to be very enthusiastic about fox feet.
2) As basic as Fiddle's background is, it still gives people something to talk about. If you can't discuss racism or troons with someone, you can always debate chicken sandwiches.
3) Averi is just easier to draw and makes her more beginner-friendly:
>the original style is messier
>she is essentially naked
>imitating Robin's original brush style may require some tinkering based on what program you are using which again makes beginner artists think they're doing something wrong.
>medium-sized breasts seem to be harder to draw, chest fluff is by far the easiest, with milk cans being somewhere in-between
Also, while a very unreliable metric, it's worth noting that if you to go e6 and arrange drawings based on score, most of the results are just Voider's porn and her brown beta variant (also starring in porn). Is this a cause or a consequence?
I mean it's to be expected that a gooner booru will have higher scores on goonable pics and Voider's drawing of Robin cosplaying Niko Bellic (is it really a cosplay? She looks more Niko than Robin there) has only a fraction of updoots, but if you sort Averis by score, you will find a noticeable amount of SFW near the top. And that's before we account for everything that hasn't been uploaded (beginner artists are more content with just showing her waving, than trying to get her to contort in some exotic kamasutra position in a way that makes sense)
