I'd never go to a con or wear a fursuit nor do I find any part of the experience appealing but I really like watching videos of people in their fursuit and at conventions
Does anyone else share this feeling? 90% of my Instagram algorithm consists of this. It makes me kinda jealous of the fact that they can enjoy it

Conventions aren't fun. I went to one in May this year and just awkwardly walked around, wasting money at stands. The talks weren't good, with most being about various sexual perversions. Maybe it's better if you come with friends? But I'm not subjecting a friend to the boredom of visiting one if I were to go again.

If you want photoshoots though, then it's AWESOME. Got enough photos at the con to fill up half an SD card.

It consisted mainly of stickers, A LOT of stickers; fursuit accessories (tails, those weird latex bandanas (ew) etc); there was a stand about a furry comic which I furgot the name of; plushies, and animal t-shirts. I spent ~140 dollars in total at the stands, primarily on stickers and five shirts.
