That's possible, but on a deeper level, I don't fully understand why I like sharkgirls either. They're sleek and pointy and not always very feminine looking. Hladilnik's Lonely Shark makes me want to bring her flowers and wrap her in a fluffy blanket. There have been other sharkgirl characters depicted in contrasting manners, still very feminine looking, whom I likewise found very attractive.
I get that sergals are generally considered a weird choice, in large part because they were a huge meme at /b/ fur years, and the fetishy stuff associated with them got more and more weird and extreme. There is still very little material with them that isn't pretty closely tied to all manner of stuff that even the "normal" anthro enthusiasts find creepy and alarming. Rain Silves is usually depicted as a complete psycho, which isn't my idea of a good time. MrFanMan42's character Lyka, from Survivors of a Shattered World, is a sweet young woman who just happens to have fangs and floof, and I less-than-three her.
It should not be surprising that I also like certain specific female wolf anthro characters. ChainmailTail draws some very cute awoo ladies, often doing cute things. Some people draw them as monstrous. My tastes run more to, fur example, Florence Ambrose, who has always been highly waifu-able. Or Ashley's mom, on left, who has it going on. I like the pointy snoots, the expressive pointy ears, the floofy tails. These are traits they share with foxes, of course.

I find some specific opossum ladies attractive. Hladilnik's Mary Ann, fur example. She is a pretty lady, in the age category some have labeled "milf," and she's got this kind of Morticia Addams thing going on. She's very articulate and a bit sinister looking, And she has a pet bnuuy named Cedric.

In her other pants, I bet.
