How often and what mainly do you draw?
Personally i rarely draw anymore because i got mad at being bad at it

Same
"It gets fun when you get good at it" is basically the same as "dude the show gets good 200 episodes in trust me bro"
Why dedicate time to a hobby I don't find fun? Fur a slight chance I might find it fun in a year or two?

Every few days I'll spend a couple hours making something before bed. I've seen pretty rapid improvements just by studying anatomy a little bit and just practicing, and I just enjoy the whole process and find myself proud of the end product. Though I've only been drawing for a few weeks, but I can't see myself burning out any time soon because I'm not forcing myself to draw, I just do it when I want to

Trve but i think if theres time to waste why not spend it on a hobby or smth

Just do it when you feel like it, don't force yourself into it. Turning a hobby into a job is the number one way to stop enjoying said hobby. It's not like you signed a contract or anything, if you don't end up wanting to draw OCs then just don't. It's not like you're going to get arrested or anything. Prioritize your own enjoyment in the hobby over pleasing other people

I try to draw at least once a day, even a doodle is enough, so that I don't lose touch with my art skills

trve ill probably start drawing again when i have free time instead of forcing myself to improve "quickly"

Draw in a way that you find fun. Personally I find a lot of enjoyment in seeing myself improve and getting an end product that's detailed or looks well proportioned, but that's just me, other people like drawing chibi and yet they have vastly superior technical skill to me. But even if my skill is lower I'm having fun drawing what I draw, the best part is getting to express my ideas onto the screen when normally they'd be trapped inside my brain. Technical skill is separate to creativity and I think being able to exercise your creativity in a way you want is what's truly enjoyable at the end of the day

Just draw bro, it feels like you're looking for shortcuts but the only shortcut to learning how to draw is drawing more. Expect to suck, but there no skill worth having that you don't suck at at the beginning otherwise we'd all he artists

I don't like drawing but if I don't draw I would have to pay people to draw for me and I don't want to do that because I want it to be MY drawing.
Pic related.

Fur a while, I was forcing myself to draw at least an hour every day. I still try to do that, but sometimes I'm just really not in the mood to draw, so I'll allow myself to skip a day occasionally. I think it's probably better to not force yourself to draw when you don't want to, ever since I started doing that I've had way more days where I drew for like 4 or 5 hours

>what mainly do you draw?
whatever I want :P

>Personally i rarely draw anymore because i got mad at being bad at it
I don't think you should let that get in the way of you enjoying drawing. You're always going to be your harshest critic when it comes to your own art. The amount of fun you have while drawing shouldn't be related to the quality of the drawing, and if you keep drawing consistently the quality will improve anyways. And people don't even really care as much about the quality of a drawing as you might think, otherwise nobody would be playing stuff like Gartic Phone lol
