I feel like this thread is the most appropriate place to say it, and I don't want to derail the topic: I don't actually care fur averi. I think she's a really cute fox, and I love the character. But I don't have any special attachment to her, she's a cute fox and the 'foo has many other cute foxes that deserve attention too. I used to have a weird obsession with her but this site helped me diversify my waifur love to more characters and I'm over her now.

The way she's drawn + the bunny suit look less like "this is my self insert character and I want her to be beautiful" and more like "I'm sexually attracted to this character and drew her in a way I find sexy"
A lot of earlier averi drawings are like this actually, they look like they were drawn by someone sexually attracted to the character, but she stopped later on.  I wonder if she started using averi as her sona and thus began to find the thought of sexualizing her weird or uncomfurtable. 
Like, if I had a male self-insert and wanted to him to look cool or handsome I'd make him muscular or have a chiseled chin, but I wouldn't put him in a mankini or jock strap, that'd just be weird

I find it more believable that she drew Averi this way to appeal to a majority male audience than because she had an actual attraction to her. It'd be an easy way to build a xitter following when most furries are male, no? It's no different to an author adding fanservice to their stories.

Averi has 0 tits. If that was her intention then it was an abysmal attempt. There's even that averi fake tits made of chicken that pokes fun at the fact she has no tits. The simplest explanation is that she drew averi that way because she was attracted to her. As opposed to your changing opinion that went from averi as a self-insert by fiddle wanting to be beautiful to making her attractive to the male gaze

There are ways to appeal to men beyond boobies, and in this case, fiddle perhaps made Averi incredibly curvy probably fur that purpose. Even if she held attraction fur her, wouldn't she have drawn boobs in that case? Or would that be a turn off fur a supposed lesbian?

Women aren't stupid, they know men like tits. I'm just curious why you'd think it's more likely averi was trying to attract men than just simply finding women attractive herself. After all, giving your character big tits is the easiest way to attract dudes, much moreso than just hips
Also what lesbians like is all over the place. Some like tits, some don't care. Remember, fiddle started on Tumblr, a site known fur its abundance of lesbians
