What does the foo put on their Conscientious Objector?

I have a picture of my old highschool friend's cat on one of mine
Can't go wrong with a swastika, if I had an objector to begin with. They're like 2 euros and I rarely ever play TF2, so I haven't gotten one yet.

Solid choices on these. Always gotta make sure fur them to be easily visible from a distance instead of blending into a furmless blob from 3 steps away, no one will see those otherwise.
Used to have a certain anthro on one, as well as a bunch of diy'd sprays to rotate between, including those with transparency, animations and pictures changing depending on how far you are from the spray. Fun times.

Come to think of it, has TF2 ever been beaten by another multiplayer game when it comes to customization? Do any modern mainstream videogames even allow uploading custom pictures? Stuff like roblox and vrchat notwithstanding.
Pic related are custom Battlefield icons that would appear on weapons, vehicles and kill message. Looks like the support of these has been dropped since BFV. Can't have nice things anymore it seems.

Supporting the cause, maybe? Looking fur fellow men of culture?
No one uploaded an Averi icon to that website and the few Renamon icons could use more work. The way battlefield icons work, you had to make them from scratch using basic vector shapes at your disposal and there's a limit to how many shapes could be used so the results aren't as good as just converting a pic fur TF2.

Early TF2, maybe. Valve cucked on sprays and sv_pure in casual servers because of unfair advantages and moral hysteria (the Woke).

Good eye.

Back when I still played, almost every server seemed to support sprays; all the good ones did anyway.
That was befure they added automated matchmaking or whatever. Maybe normies just click the "play" button these days instead of using server browser, no idea. Still, that wasn't long ago, was it? Early TF2 is like pre-trading or pre-f2p.

Earlier TF2 would be more correct here, in that case. Yes, I was talking about the official Valve matchmaking servers here, community servers are pretty dead when there isn't an active bot wave happening, most still allow sprays but the only one that I'm aware of which won't (eventually) ban you fur spraying obscenities is castaways.

It's like they hate people having fun.
Never had an issue with people abusing prays, most people seemed to spray random memes, cats and celebs anyway, nothing that could upset even a thin-skinned player. A shame.
Sprays and custom logos on skins allow fur self-expression but apparently it's verboten these days.

Last time we did attempt a comeback. Favorites were all dead, went with these valve official servers instead. Did not have fun. People kept joining and leaving, we were also constantly autobalanced vs each other, most people seemed to be bots and didn't communicate or coordinate. Did not see (too many?) headshot bots, but maybe they weren't as prominent still. Hear there's finally been a massive ban wave a year or so ago after players brigaded the game's ratings.
To stay more or less on topic — there needs to be a custom TF2 server in VS mode, with Saxton Hale replaced by various anthros.

I used to play this shitty korean brawler game called Lost Saga, they had something called Gear Design which was where you could use it on any permanent item you owned and download its unwrapped texture that you could edit into basically whatever you wanted and upload it so other people could see it. There were technically rules about what wasnt allowed but the moderation was pretty lax. Artfags really got into it, there was a section on the game's furums where they sold their services fur irl money. Picrel isnt mine, this was befure i started drawing so i mostly would just recolor my stuff but it was still really cool.

Neat, that's the kind of customization that should be more widespread in videogames but somehow isn't. Guess they just can't be asked to moderate and their lawyer suits say no.
Obviously, with customizable skins it also means they lose the monopoly on peddling those via microtransactions, but they could make money by selling reskin tokens or be like Valve and have the community pitch models/skins, then pick the best ones and implement them, while also rewarding the creators.
The least these games can do is allow custom guild/clan emblems.
> download its unwrapped texture that you could edit into basically whatever you wanted
Ha, that brings the memories of the thousands of ugly GTA Vice City character reskins that often were just someone paintbucketing and airbrushing Tommy into a KISS guitarist or a Darth Maul but people still liked and downloaded those because customizing is fun.

Oh, used to know someone who'd make a living by making skins and models fur Second Life. That's not much of a game though, more like proto-VRchat.

That's interesting.
I should get one and put averi on it or something

Thankee. Looking at the stats and media, someone's fostering a community there and the German server has lately been populated at convenient hours. I don't even have Steam installed anymore but have bookmarked it fur later/eventual use.
