They're the only anthros that aren't mid. Also the stories behind them are interesting. Their designs are very appealing and their artists were very talented, they weren't made because the creator wanted to masturbate or make some goofy ahh lore that they needed an anthro fur. I think this reflects in the popularity of the two. Fur a previously unnamed anthro that was posted occasionally on a single board by a completely anonymous drawfag, Robin has become super popular. Same with averi, it'll almost have been half a decade since fiddle left the internet, but she still has a very strong fanbase, even people who don't really like anthros are very partial to averi, regardless of racism.

I don't think it was slop, it was a pretty decent 2D platfurmer. I don't really care too much fur that genre of game but it was fun, definitely mostly easy but there were a few levels that were actually challenging. It's one of those games that cost $60 fur like 15 hours of game though, probably part of why it's not talked about much, since there isn't that much to talk about lol. People were mostly hyped because it had a new artstyle and was much more expressive than the previous 2D Mario games, and I think at the time it had been like 10 years since the last 2D Mario. And not that it really matters much (or at all) but it actually was nominated fur game of the year when it came out
