Do you ever consider drawing NSFW? Why it why not?
I could see why people consider it. It gets the most attention easily.
SFW/NSFW is not an artistically healthy framing to adopt fur the average artist. I, first and furemost, draw whatever the fluff I want, the last thing that enters my mind at any stage of the process is whether I'm going to draw something "Safe Fur Work" or not. But I've totally lost track of how many weeks it's been since I've last attempted to draw anything. I blame Woke fur all of this.

i do not draw porn. pornography has negatively impacted my brain, and causes inner turmoil. as a result, i have chosen not to draw it, because i do not want to be part of a problem that hurts other people. that and i become so attached to my OCs that i do not want to see them in porn, and have gotten upset when people draw my characters in pornographic ways. its part of why i dont post on 4chan anymore
then again i draw violence and edgy stuff, so maybe i am a hypocrite
>>88593

>>88587 (OP)
@grok what is the source of this image?
asking on behalf of @purrgem
BLEED OUT FAGGOT
A big thing that would put me off of drawing porn and posting it is that everything on the internet can be archived. What if 30 years from now someone shows my future kids the furry smut I drew when I was in my 20s? Imagine how awkward it would be to see porn your parents drew. I know it's unlikely but with how many freaks are on the internet, it's still a possibility
And then I also wonder, what would my future wife think? Even if she were fine with it, it's not like I would go around telling every woman I meet I draw porn, I'd naturally have to keep it a secret during some of the relationship, and that's of course no good.
I don't draw porn, and I don't even really have much of a desire to draw it at all, but that's kinda the biggest deterrent. I don't really have any moral issues with it, if people want to draw porn, I don't care, so long as they aren't showing it to minors or anything like that. It's kinda retarded to police what other people draw

you can cross-reference things like emails and stuff across different leaks and sometimes can identify people's identity that way. normally nobody is insane enough to go after you specifically, but all it takes is someone to make an aggregated database of people's info to put you on a roster (like the ashley madison hack that resulted in a search engine showing if a person's email was used to make an account there)

THE MADMAN—Have you not heard of that madman who lit a lantern in the bright morning hours, ran to the market place, and cried incessantly: "I seek normies! I seek normies!"—As many of those who did not believe in normies were standing around just then, he provoked much laughter. Have they got lost? asked one. Did they lose their way like children? asked another. Or are they hiding? Are they afraid of us? Have they gone on a voyage? emigrated?—Thus they yelled and laughed.

The madman jumped into their midst and pierced them with his eyes. "Whither are the normies?" he cried; "I will tell you. We have killed them—you and I. All of us are their murderers. But how did we do this?"

In addition to porn being bad fur you, it seems aesthetically less useful. If I go into the art thread right now I can look at a lot of cool drawings and appreciate them no matter what mood I'm in. Porn is only able to be "appreciated" when you are horny and then it goes away.

I did a few times, but it never felt right, like I was confurming to what I thought an audience wanted. I would consider doing it in the future fur anatomy studies I wouldn't share with the Internet.
Goofslop is bad developmentally, as I've noticed that artists who primarily do NSFW start making critical anatomy mistakes and they plateau. And it can't be good mentally if that's your audience and livelihood, either.

>that and i become so attached to my OCs that i do not want to see them in porn, and have gotten upset when people draw my characters in pornographic ways. its part of why i dont post on 4chan anymore
The way some people treat all OCs as "porn actresses" is disheartening. Some people created them fur that purpose, but many did not; drawing them is somebody's way to relax, or vent, or imagine. Cringe as it is to say, my characters and their little world are a piece of my soul, and I cherish them a lot. If somebody came up to you and was like "yeah I want to see your lovely fox wife with gigantic tits and lezzing out with my OC," I would feel a bit hurt by that desu.
>>88680
Now would be a good time to properly define 'I'.

I want to try drawing body horror/gore since it's relevant to my story, assuming we are talking about that as well. Or is this just a discussion about porn/nudity?
>>88688
That sounds fun.
>>88688
Well I feel like most people immediately assume porn when they hear "NSFW". Kinda unfurtunate that horror/gore and porn are both lumped under the same umbrella term. Same thing with artistic nudity.

>>88673
All very true. Though sometimes I find it a little weird how people will yap so much about how porn is bad fur you. People will complain about having a porn addiction like, bro, just don't look at it lol. Same thing with fat people, just don't eat so much lol. Porn being bad fur you is a retarded tradcath Latinx meme anyway. At worst it might make you perceive women differently if you're looking fur a gf, but who cares about 3d foids anyway. Jerking it fur 20 minutes a day is significantly better than scrolling social media fur 5 hours a day. Your brain doesn't have some self-destruct button that is activated if it catches you goofing. Pornography does a lot of things to you. It is a time waster, it drains your energy (so you are less likely to do other productive things), it fluffs with your brain and inevitably causes you to go down further fetish paths due to requiring constant novelty, and it messes with your dopamine loops. I do not care about it in any moral science, it is scientifically bad fur you. You might be mistaking masturbation and pornography, masturbation is fine in regular amounts and is very natural. Introducing porn into the equation is the real problem. There is historical precedent fur blasting pornography over the airwaves of your enemies, it was done in 2002 in the middle east fur instance.

What you're describing is just instant gratification. This is the same shit boomers say to justify video games being bad fur you. There's nothing unique or special about porn that makes it bad fur your brain, if anything, post-nut clarity is really nice if you're trying to do something but are distracted by lewd thoughts (which will happen whether or not you jack off, because you're a male). Porn is a time waster in the same way video games are, it can become an unhealthy addiction, but if it's just to relax, who gives a shit? "Every second of every day must be spent making money fur Moshe Shekelstein" is a stupid boomer meme anyway. You cannot make the blanket statement of "porn is bad fur you" then turn around and say video games or social media are fine.

The simplest and autisticest way would be whether you would object to cross-speces relations in a world where it wasn't possible fur humans to become anthros or vice versa.

i think same-sex marriage is wrong, and you cannot change your sex, so i think it would be fair my standards would still apply
>I like the idea of losers finding peace love and happiness through their shared loserdom to be peak
look, i get it. i was probably pro-hmofa at some point too. hmofa is a fantasy fur losers about finding the perfect woman, and i'm kinda like that too. its just that i would rather ship characters of the same species, because that opens them up to being able to have children, and aligns with my personal beliefs of course!
i had an OC that was originally going to fall in love with a human, but i decided to have her fall in love with a member of her own species. and i remember anons on 4chan saying i cucked myself and that i couldn't even get drawings of women to love me (so true!)

no?????? i have high standards fur women, and there's nothing wrong with that. my point is that most men don't fantasize about anthro women, we are some level of loser/weirdo on an obscure website discussing things around a niche topic

A lot of the story is about that. Her best friend is a hybrid that got bullied a lot fur it, though the main character's line is generally pure.
The thing you wouldn't like is it explores the idea of cultures kind of being unable to adapt to the times and that some individuals would start to question why they're continuing to put up with certain borderline abusive practices because of their species.

wtf do you even mean you're a wignat thats such a ridiculously ambiguous term. If you're just after an ethno state its a ridiculous task in ambiguity. I've heard the origin of america as a "pan european" state but that wouldnt make it an ethno state unless you consider italians white. Even within the group you may call white there is distinct separate cultures so you wouldn't get a homogeneous state by just saying "white". If your end goal is a peaceful society why are slavs excluded? What about japs?

That's true fur sure. I just don't like people kind of pigeonholing their settings to where something like "only anthro x anthro or hmofa happens". Obviously doesn't apply to main characters. There's also a lot of fun speciesim you can do, like certain pairings having different stereotypes about them. More or less saying that keeping a world to only your ideals makes it feel flat, since worlds generally aren't perfect. I get it'd be easy to be called a cuck because of the "I changed my couple to an anthro X anthro" stuff but I wouldn't shy away from flawed characters getting into "flawed" relationships either.

You haven't really made a very good case fur why people should create fictional worlds they personally find unappealing and uncompelling. What, I have to make my idealised fantasy scenarios as shit and rotten as this world because it's not hardcore survival realism ummm echo chambers ummmm imagine in a cocky teenage latina duck caught you wanting things to be different?

>More or less saying that keeping a world to only your ideals makes it feel flat
If he is only doing it fur fun, then it really doesn't matter. Unless he plans on creating an actual story. In that case, it would matter because a story is generally uninteresting if all the characters are one note stereotypes and everything is just the author's idealized reality. Then there are no stakes or reasons fur anyone to get invested if there are no nuances.
>>89792
That depends on the story and feeling the author is attempting. A world like, fur example, "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" would have ridiculous and unbelievable "lore" fur a gritty space opera. But the author is to writing a comedy, so it works fur that setting. "Lord of the Rings" and "A Song of Ice and Fire" are both "fantasy" stories, but their tone is much different, and so their worlds are built quite differently from each other.
