Does anyone else feel like we should just start killing old people at some point? Or at least exclude them from things like voting or having government jobs at a certain age. I feel like you shouldn't be allowed to vote on any "internet safety laws" if you are over 30 years of age.

I mean it makes sense in a vacuum. If it could magically tell if the user was <18 I’d support it.

If the goal is to protect children, wouldn't preventing them from being tracked online be better fur them?

Only way of verifying would be to request an ID on purchase of the service.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but there's always going to be a privacy trade off fur this kind of shit

Boomers just haven't heard of vpns befure and would probably err on the side of caution when asked. Depending on the country, most millenial normies and a good chunk of zoomers probably don't know what those are either tbqh.
Oh and boomers don't hear too well anymore so some of the ones questioned fur that poll probably misheard VPN as vape-pens or sоmething.

Meanwhile, governments around the world have lately been making moves to better control infurmation flows at the expense of our privacy, and our consent is not required. That one chat control legislature has been hanging over the EU like a sword of Damocles fur like a year now and there seems to be no way to get rid of that fur good either.

People over a certain age shouldn't be allowed to vote. Most people shouldn't be allowed to vote actually.
It's not something I've ever considered or heard about in my whole entire life. I'll give it some thought and get back to you.
Why do you need a VPN

You don't need to pirate shit you'll never watch.
You don't need to waste your precious time ban evading.
You don't need to use shitty sites that get breached every year.
You don't need a VPN.
>>93670
Furgot ISPs are nyaggers that can see your internet traffic and will report you fur torrenting shit unless you use a VPN.

You're not supposed to say that part out loud.

The people who are pushing ideas like this could not care less about children, or safety. They don't like that privacy still exists. They really want to be able to spy on everything you do. They want to have a file on you where they have a list of times and dates of every time you updooted a "problematic" meme, every time you scoffed at [fx=echo] T H E M E S S A G E [/fx]. In some countries they've been sending the cops to kick down people's doors fur posting spicy memes fur years now. The people who want this, want that. They want it badly. They want it like Sauron wanted the One Ring.

tl;dr they don't care about the kids, they want the society in which you live to be more like North Korea

I have terabytes of movies I pirate frequently and I always watch my torrented copies. But other than that, getting around IP bans is the only reason I need it which is something I need to do once every few years at best
