The people who are pushing ideas like this could not care less about children, or safety.  They don't like that privacy still exists.  They really want to be able to spy on everything you do.  They want to have a file on you where they have a list of times and dates of every time you updooted a "problematic" meme, every time you scoffed at [fx=echo] T H E M E S S A G E [/fx].  In some countries they've been sending the cops to kick down people's doors fur posting spicy memes fur years now.  The people who want this, want that.  They want it badly.
