Your waifur wouldn't be able to enjoy the food you do. How does that make you feel?

I do not eat most of these
>pets
Which ones?
<ANFOO SPACING
Also, my dogs have had chocolate & caffeine in tiny amounts. Nothing happened. I still maintain that those substances'd be treated similarly to alcohol. The fruits list is referring to the pit. Nophoxo eats the pit. So on and so forth. I do wonder who the hell does the research for these bullshit general guidelines, for human dietary recommendations too.
Most of my favorite foods are meats or primarily meats or animal-based, anyways.

God loves us so much that in His infinite mercy and wisdom, He allowed us to enjoy chocolate, garlic, and grapes.

It is arguable, from a purely theological perspective, that in a world with anthros, He would love them too. Wouldn't you?

depending on my story i either have anthros just eat the same stuff as we do, or have their diets restricted to their species. i had a small worldbuilding idea where the cat people can't really do agriculture, so they mostly fish and do some ranching to feed themselves, but cannot ever reach the population sizes that humans or other omnivores/herbivores can
>>98055
I've given this some thought too. I just kind of dismissively told myself they'd probably have massive fish farms/ranches but you might be right that it wouldn't scale as well as plants do in terms of food yield per unit of land/water.

Why not? Maybe producing, for example, grain, isn't suited to their dietary needs, but maybe they could trade with other species.

This was intentional, wasn't it?

well at least in this story, they do not get along with humans and are isolationists. so it would be kinda stupid to have your food security be determined by trading with a species you hate

You're assuming that she's a regular animal. While all those foods would indeed by unhealthy for a regular dog, cat, or fox; you haven't accounted for fluffy companions having evolved to be more tolerant of those foods. Heck, even humans are not universal in what foods we can eat. For example, the Japanese have naturally developed certain enzymes in their body that make them more easily able to digest things like seaweed and fish. Some people are able to eat duck eggs without issue, while others can only stand chicken eggs, etc.
