You've misunderstood the Peat CO2 stuff if you thought it meant that you should do this. Open the window, don't be afraid of the cold.

Then why's the PPM in the yellow?

You don't know who Ray Peat is in current year? I don't know where one would begin with explaining what he's about and (arguably more importantly -) his online legacy. He's an alternate health guy, all of the PUFA and seed oil discourse of the past five years can be traced back to his work and forums dedicated to it. He died this year or the last.
https://raypeat.com/ The few articles I've bothered to read from him have been pretty insightful.
Nice

I hadn't turned the fan on yet. Left to its own, CO2 consistently rises above 1k in the mornings here. I believe it's to do with the temperature inversions which commonly occur here at this time of year, trapping all the nasty gunk in the air at surface level.
I'm aware of all the sneed oils, fluoride, Monsanto, NWO, etc. discourse but have never really involved myself in it beyond learning to be skeptical of mainstream health guidelines.
The real reason I have this sensor is that I was planning to sleep in an air-conditioned hole in the ground in the desert during the summer and one of my concerns was accumulated CO2 asphyxiating me in my sleep without warning. I never had the time to do it so now it's just in my room telling me how shite the air gets.

That's a strange thing to want to do.

Oh, well. Some of us are fucking weirdos. But I wasn't going to do it just for the sake of sleeping in the hole. I was going to camp out there & build on my property.
