I think it was mostly happenstance that so many sharty users came here especially in the wake of /bp/ being deleted. The admin team here seems to have more in common with 4chan than the sharty.

Enduring hostility builds character. If this site had come out of any other place, it'd probably be a lot softer and gayer like most other furry spaces.
