Huh? 2008 financial crisis? Libya and Syria war? Anti White messaging in every single advert and TV show? Wiretaps called smartphones? Non-disableable MINIX is backdoors shipped with every intel CPU? SystemD? The internet just being concentrated into like 3 giant forums 2 reelslop spyware apps and discord? Kids groomed into cutting their boobs/dick off? Great replacement? Indian hostile takeover? COVID lockdown wealth transfer? War with Iran? Jail time for offending a non White person or criticising Israel? AI face recognition camera grid? Digital ID being pushed through"age verification laws" in every Western country at the exact same time? It's December 2006 silly anon, let's go swimming and watch death note and play world of warcraft later
It’s a rare occasion for the stinky femcel fox to touch water.
Swimming is not a 2006 activity. The "tech demo island core" videogames and Final Fantasy X were 2000-2004, and Windows 7 was 2009.

>Huh?
SNUH?

>2008 financial crisis?
1992 recession? 1970s stagflation?

>Libya and Syria war?
Quemoy and Matsu Crisis? I'm not trying to be glib here. The world has been on the brink of Armageddon since before you were born. Or your father. Or his father. Somehow the planet keeps rotating on its axis and we keep on keeping on.

>Anti White messaging in every single advert and TV show?
That started when TV was still black and white. Anything with pictures that move has always been heavy-handed agitprop first and foremost, and it's always been owned top to bottom by people who hate you. Always. It's why it was all created in the first place.

>Wiretaps called smartphones?
Those go back to the Clinton Administration.

>Non-disableable MINIX is backdoors shipped with every intel CPU?
It isn't just Intel, and it goes a lot further back than 2006.

>SystemD?
I grant you, this development is current, but it's part of a vastly older pattern.

>The internet just being concentrated into like 3 giant forums 2 reelslop spyware apps and discord?
I too miss the dial-up Internet, but here's a depressing little secret. The normies didn't like having lots of web forums. They didn't like having to learn a command-line environment to chat on IRC. There were constant little nudges from the government--from all the governments--to get rid of all this "dangerous" "extreme" talk that they couldn't readily keep tabs on and herd all the normies into a handful of easily monitored little pens from the moment the first person with a Sailor Moon fanart page on Geocities put up a second page with political opinions that contradicted [ fx = echo ] THE NARRATIVE [ /fx ]. None of this would have worked if the normies hadn't really, really wanted everything to be "easy."

Those of a certain age can remember a time before the September that Never Ended, when ARPANET (it wasn't called "The Internet" yet) was a secret Cool Kids Club for Air Force types and a few computer science majors. And for years and years after that, even after the proliferation of home computers that had "user-friendly" candy-colored click-and-drool user interfaces, it required just a tiny, tiny bit of capacity for abstract thought to get online. Even after you spent a healthy four-figure sum on a PeeCee with a Pentium CPU and the very latest version of Windows 3.1 and the most expensive modem the guy at Computerland had to offer, you still had to figure out a little piece of software called Trumpet Winsock to get your modem to dial and connect. You had to start the configuration utility from an MSDOS command line, key in the IP address of your ISP's DNS server, maybe edit the dialing script a bit, which you could do in Notepad if you didn't like the DOS text editor. This required just enough effort and abstract thought that people whose VCRs had been flashing "12:00" over and over since they bought them in 1978, and who did not have a "smart" grandchild to set it all up for them and spoon-feed them, put all the stuff back in the boxes and went back to watching the lobotomy box instead.

But, systematically, every barrier to entry has been dismantled. Now a billion Pajeets will scream SEND BOOBS AND VAGEENE YOU BITCH LASAGNA into the screens of their hand-me-down Blackberries and poo all over everything you're trying to read forevermore, or until an AI makes all of them, and all of us, into paperclips, whichever comes first. And, you know what? The normies like it better this way. They like muh diversity. Grandma Boomer likes being able to click the big shiny candy-colored Fisher-Price style button to send pictures of her great-grandchildren's cats to her friends on Facebook. A billion guys with the credit cards in one hand and their dicks in the other are perfectly happy to be fingerprinted and maybe implanted with the same kind of tracking chip people put in their dogs so that they can look at Onlyfans.

They love this shit. They LOVE it. What, you wanted to be able to voice your political opinions without the cops kicking down your door for lese-majeste? That's nerd shit. Who cares about that nerd shit? People who talk like fags and their shit's all retarded, that's who. The Internet is now five web pages, each of which only shows screenshots of the other four, and the normies couldn't be happier. They are joyous, like pigs wallowing in their own shit. And if it ever crosses their tiny little lower-primate minds to question any of it for a moment, all the politicians, and those who pull the politicians' strings, have to do is jingle the keys to distract the baby. "We have to protect THUH CHILDRENZ! We've got to PROTECT THUH BABBIEZ!" ("Two weeks to flatten the curve!" "Wear the mask or Grandma will DIE!") And the doubt instantly vanishes, their faces smooth over, and they go right back to Facebook to click on the screenshots of cat pictures from Tik Tok. "Blessed is the mind too small for doubt," amirite?

>Kids groomed into cutting their boobs/dick off?
Creeps and weirdos have been grooming kids far longer than there's been an Internet. They just had to do it in person then.

>Great replacement?
Started in 1965 with Hart-Cellar.

>Indian hostile takeover?
Started in 1991 with the creation of the new H1B visa category as a "temporary" "emergency measure."

>COVID lockdown wealth transfer?
The lockdowns were an experiment to see how far the normies would let them go before pushing back. Turns out it was a lot further than even my most pessimistic predictgions.

>War with Iran?
War with Mexico? War with Spain? War with Germany?

>Jail time for offending a non White person or criticising Israel?
This has been going on in Canada and the EU for a long, long, long time now.

>AI face recognition camera grid?
That one's been in the works since someone decided it might be possible.

>Digital ID being pushed through"age verification laws" in every Western country at the exact same time?
These people always probe and push. The non-reaction to using the common cold as a pretext to put the world on house arrest and hijack the election process has enormously emboldened them and convinced them they could speed up the timetable, but it's been a long time coming. The normies hear "MUSS PROTEC THUH CHILDRENZ" and nod happily along, the dried peas rattling cheerfully inside their hollow empty skulls. They are happy to live in an open-air gulag and force you to live in it with them. The majority always defines what's normal and sane. The majority defines what's right and wrong. Question any of it and you're crazy, by definition.

>It's December 2006 silly anon, let's go swimming and watch death note and play world of warcraft later
Somebody tell me how to get to December 1981 instead. Or maybe even December 1881. I'll happily trade losing access to antibiotics and electricity for a culture that wasn't so completely hostile, corrupt, and rotten. At least a man can dream.

The internet being reduced to ~5 websites wouldn't necessarily be so bad if they weren't all ran by libtards and jeet maximisers, normalfaggots self-segregate well enough without encroaching on or obscuring the pipelines to initiation... without external influence. Of course, the external influence of libtards incinerating every organic growth outside of the mainstream platforms is the reason this is the state of affairs to begin with.

Don't forget that the US government backed Facebook from the very start. Myspace had been online for five years when Facebook was created. Myspace had "technical problems" and got a reputation for being "buggy," and all the normies got herded into the little concrete pen labeled "Facebook" instead, the one that was built with listening devices in the wall when the foundations were laid. Only now Facebook isn't "cool" and "hip" any more, so the normies are being herded into Instagram and Tik Tok and X now.

>all run by

X at least allows people to question THE NARRATIVE, so long as they don't do it too loudly. They're a little less brazen about it most of the time than they were when they censored the Babylon Bee for "muh misinformations."
