every time i see this thread on the cattlalog i think it's like cubivores from gamecube for some reason

on topic i used to have a sona for myself that i drew a couple of times he was a chamebred nautilus. i kind of want to bring him back but idk if he would be my sona or not, just a normal character. it ties a little into my more cuz octopuss people exist in my setting

I genuinely don't understand fursonas. Why do people make them? Where did the trend even begin? I don't have enough friends who are furfags to even consider making a fursona.
