How is it any less weird than clothes with abstracted symbols of the heart or bones or eyes or human hands? This really is not that absurd even in a world where anthro hands are closer to human ones than animal paws and they had always existed alongside humanity. Still an imperfect comparison because human feet are morphologically ugly and weird and fucked up looking elongated hand things haphazardly modified until they're good enough for consistent upright mobility and paws are less so and will have the privilege of being intelligently designed for that purpose.
