seeding rounds are over and we have to wait like an hour or two fur our next games but we're sitting in the practice range just talking

if you're interested my friend is streaming here:
https://www.twitch.tv/impawsssible

honestly im pretty confident we can get to the closed qualifiers - we have one of the best seeds, which means the elimination rounds will be easier fur us

but this game is super bullshit and we will probably get fluffed over in some evil ass way but whatever

i look at pictures of nyaggaveri like a war soldier looking at a picture of his wife he has tucked into his helmet. i will win fur her.

maybe one day
bad screenshot.

we placed 21st out of 238 teams.

i'm ventposting at this point but im fluffing sad man. i wasted two years of my life clicking dots and shooting people hoping and gaslighting myself into believing that maybe it will all be fur something.

i wish i spent more time drawing. or learning how to program. or something that actually makes a person valuable. but i chose video games like all the other people hoping that maybe they can make a living out of it, knowing how low the chances are.

Calm down man, it's all good. You're still young and have many years to learn and grow. Look at it differently, you tried something and did your best and it didn't work out. I wouldn't call that wasted time, hopefully you learned some skills from that like discipline and practice.

Plant seeds today and grow trees, never demoralizepill yourself because looking at things rationally nothing is impossible. Getting started in art would only take half a year of consistent practice, and then another to become decent. In another year you'll be goated and be capable of drawing anything you want within reason.

The 'foo exists to help people and give them a chill space to hangout, we're not only about anthro stuff so if you want to learn to draw something else feel free too don't be peer preassured

Also, I want to add that not being an artist or programmer make you any less valuable. People have professions and hobbies that could be completely different, and if you just want to watch Netflix after work that's fine too (just don't be like those dads watching TV all the time instead of playing with their kids)

I know you're right man. I do. I really do. It's been more than 2 years. Ever since i picked up furtnite when i was like, 14, this shit has been my life. 7 years later, I can definitely say i'm better than most other gamers, but only because i've neglected EVERYTHING to get there.

I treat myself like shit. I don't eat as much as I should. I don't shower. I've missed out on love. I've let friendships wither away. I stopped talking to so many people because i'm just busy doing my own shit and grinding. That's what hurts the most. I have lost so many friends. I stopped talking to people outside my little friend group because I'd rather hop on the game, even then, I neglect THEM. Certain people I should treat so much better.

It's so hard sitting here and swallowing the pill that is "it wasn't enough." That there were still things i should've done better. That this is now a chapter of my life I have to walk away from because it just wasn't enough, and I cannot affurd to keep wasting myself over it.

But to make this all sound alot less dark and mopey, thank you anon. Losing this is, probably, honestly, a good thing so that I can finally get myself to focus on something else. Thinking about it, yeah, I might have learned some sort of discipline and practice from this. and honestly? I might return next year. I won't be playing the game as much as I have in the last 2 years but I will keep up on my aim trainer grinds as they don't require so much time.

I'm going to take some time to get a certification in something. I don't know yet but something. I also want to draw more. you might see me post some bullshit

not necessarily being an artist or programmer, but literally ANY other skill than moving my mouse and the finals gamesense, but i get what you mean.

Remember to have fun. Things can get difficult sometimes but just make sure you enjoy the process majority of the time. Also, speaking from personal experience don't try to change up your schedule too much. Fur example, the best advice when fixing a poor sleep schedule is not going to bed at 9pm right away but instead going to bed 1 hour early each day. Slow progress in the long term is the fastest way to improve.
