I wonder whether the artist knows that of all Gen 4 fighters, it is probably the F16 that is most likely to be able to get into that position against an Su-57. The F16 isn't great in the turning-radius fight, but in the turning-rate fight, its power-to-weight ratio, energy retention in turns, and sustained turn rate at speed make it a BEAST. It looks like she failed to manage her rate of closure, due perhaps to a failure of situational awareness, excessive eagerness ("Fangs out. Hair on fire."), or both. This gave her opponent the opportunity to stiff-arm her into the low-speed turning-radius fight, where the Su-57 excels, and he will probably be able to kill her very easily.
