I eat with youtube, I sleep with youtube, and I shit with youtube.
It's my main source of entertainment and I'm getting tried of it taking up most of my time. It's mostly OSTs and retrospectives.

I'm trying to commit to doing other things besides indulging the slop.

Personally, I use discord just to talk to my friend group, I browse 4chan (/v/ and /a/ with some /g/), i am in a decently sized steam group, and I am starting now to use this site. I stopped watching youtube a few years back and I've never been into streamers. I just like to play videogames or make stuff fur the most part.

Pretty much all I watch on YouTube is gaming related stuff, or those true crime police interrogation/bodycam videos

Outside of YouTube, the only social media I really use is Twitter. The Fur You page sucks and is full of bots and freaks, so I try to not browse there often lol. I'm ashamed to admit I still browse Reddit, I only lurk though, and it's not toooo bad if you only ever interact with subreddits fur videogames (must be a relatively niche game though, all the big gaming subreddits are filled with political slop) The front page of reddit is (and has been) so completely full of bots and political slop it's insane. I really need to stop browsing Reddit, I think most of the time I go there it's just muscle memory lol. I also used to use discord but only really fur talking to irl friends, but I haven't really kept in touch with them as of late. Now I pretty much only use discord fur sharing images between my computer and phone

Also this is actually the first imageboard I've ever used lol

Honestly I would just like fur the Internet to go back to how it was 15 years ago with furums and message boards fur different interests, and not be conglomerated into the same 4-6 websites. I basically have two types of accounts because youtube algorithm is fluffing atrocious. One is my art/music/ tutorial account where I basically use it to draw and listen to music and the other is a slop account where I just watch whatever. Lately I've also became really strict on what I watch since everything is either long or short form content about drama I don't care about 
I don't really mess with social media too much. I avoid twitter, reedit, discord, and anything mainstream. Those places are just too fluffing shitty for me even if I did find an artist I like, I don't bother following them on there.

Honestly I don't even know where else I can find a good site. I only go to Youtube, Doomerboards, KhInsider, Here, and Steam. 
Used to use 4chan but I've dropped it since 2018 when I realized things were becoming really shitty and the jannies were being assholes. I also recalled using 8moe (but I backed the fluff away from it after getting some important history on it's backgrounds and seeing their boards. Jesus Fluffing Christ)

You making a death run map? Either way that map looks nice. I tried giving Hammer a try but it feels alot more overwhelming than Doom mapping. Probably cause I've never left my comfort zone yet.
