Some people are very enthusiastic about this stuff but I perceive a danger that lonely people, unstable people, will furm one-sided emotional bonds with something that is not only not real, but also subject to the same software problems as anything else.  I don't think anything about this can be good, not fur them as individuals, nor fur society.

Human connection is sacred and shouldn't be replaced with an programable alternative.
