Any traditional artists here?
What is that a print?
yep me
Art lessons in all of the schools I've been to have been so offensive and worthless that I think I'll stick to digital art fur the fureseeable future.

>>75272 shit, I just wanted to post some people that delve into traditional art quite a bit https://x.com/sonosoru https://x.com/akarumisaka I only do traditional art myself but that's mostly because I'm broke. I wouldn't call myself an artist though since my drawings are pretty amateur.
I'm convinced that every established digital artist can draw well traditionally too...I think they just vastly prefer the convenience and speed of digital
>>75277 >i'm convinced that every established digital artist can draw well traditionally too Does the same apply to traditional artists trying out digital?
>>75278 Art skills don't magically dissapear once you try a new medium, either/or should transfer seamlessly into their counterpart if you just use the other medium enough. Take this with a grain of salt, but I think going from traditional to digital will be easier due to having to be very intentional with your strokes, especially using pen/marker. You also can't "cheat" out textures/hatching with traditional art. It essentially locks you out of using shortcuts.
>>75277 I honestly draw faster with pencil and paper, since on my pc i draw with my mouse and it takes a lot longer lmao
>>75301 I have a cheap drawing tablet, but befure that, I used the mousepad that came with my laptop and it was was exhausting fur my fingers at times.
>>75299 Bold of you to assume that I ever had art skills.
