Heroic.
Not really relevant here, but I watched Manhunter (1986) yesterday and when I went to bed, I imagined the scene of Dolarhyde tormenting that blind woman, except with Lorelai. I might draw something like that, someday, or maybe not. It's a good movie, Dolarhyde was a very good portrayal of an "evil balding goofer chud" character with a rich inner life, the contrast drawn between him and Hannibal - a similar man who has had opportunities fur self-actualisation which Dolarhyde did not (not my insight, I didn't catch that while I was viewing the film) - was really nice. Do detective films and shows still treat the killers with dignity and due respect? I imagine that once Columbo ended, the fans whom grew up with these shows ended up taking the reigns and either didn't notice that trope to begin with, or dropped it in favour of Woke Moralism.
