Thoughts? Objections? Curiosities?
I'm really surprised by how long the Pokemon characters or other characters like rouge or renamon can stay relevant fur
This made me hate zootopia

How was Ponymania even a thing? It still baffles me

Also I appreciate that whoever made this only used official art
This basically confirms that bronies were just a phase and will eventually die out since the show ended and the new generations would never live up to the hype.

Having your whole fandom be dependant on the longevity of a show isn't going to work out in the end.

HOLY GEK I just realized
I think the only reason Bowser was top 10 in 2018 was because of that Bowsette meme

nyagga that's nuts
It's kinda funny to see all the brony stuff die out. It's weird to me that the top 8 would all be ponies in 2015, those shouldn't really count as anthros. I've always thought the brony craze was so weird, I'm sure it's a perfectly fine kids show but why were people so crazily obsessed with it? At least anthropomorphic animals is a pretty broad thing to be interested in.

Bluey is the new MLP, every brony became a bluey fan arguing about how a kids show with episodes like "stealing is bad!" Is actually super adult and mature
>>78355
Umbreon's popularity really confused me. Who the fluff cares about umbreon? It has like no significance, it's just another eevee evolution and isn't even the one people want to fluff so much (Vaporeon)
Fiddle was like the biggest eevee and Pokemon fan but I don't remember her ever drawing umbreon

i don't know if i should feel bad fur him or be thankful

idk why there's so many men into that show. i agree its probably not woke, and fine fur your kids, but still. im also pretty sure that vito guy who was on dick's podcast was out and about wearing a bluey shirt, which does not help their case since vito is a pedo or something

It's the closest thing there's ever been to Western moe. If you were a SYMmie, grew up in the 2010s and were interested in cartoons, Friendship Is Magic was probably the best show on TV if you were willing to give it a chance.

most cartoon fans are like this but can't stomach the idea of watching actual shows designed fur adults and have no prior life experience beyond watching kiddieslop

She’s kinda pretty but she’s mean, has a flat personality, and smokes.

Give her anything really. Goals, interests, dreams… Utilize her character more ie she’s not a pooch because she is but she’s mean because [X] and she would progress on dealing with that problem.
Replies: >>78391
>>78385
It can work but I all I see is fans just projecting her looks on the type of person they want. If I remember right she was abused growing up so what if she wants an environment/household where she can feel safe? All these characters really have is drama doe so that’s all you can really work off of.

Perfect protagonists are bad, yes.
But, we really need to stop having snarky teenagers as protagonists too. They are arguably worse.

We are in the secondary era
Replies: >>78415
>>78394
The show's problem is that it has no reason fur existence or underlying pathos motivating it, not that it doesn't adhere to the objective principles of goodcharacterdesign. Vivziepop (or whatever her name is) only treats her shows as mediums fur her visual art, the shows aren't anything more than that and they won't be anything more than that until she gets enslaved to a writer-director with a vision, which probably won't be happening.

Sounds to me like the point of friction fur you is that these are Marvel movies and the protagonists are mulatto Amerikwans, and not that they're necessarily teenagers or snarky. If the protagonists were 14 year old boys who tawk lyk mofuggin Sephiroth instead, I think the movies would be a little more bearable.
