What are some examples of "mainstream Western cartoonish furs"? And what does "kemono" even mean? Anthros with tranime faces?

Japanese furries, but it basically refers to the art style, like how "anime" meant "cartoon from Japan" but now just means the specific anime style, regardless of country of origin 
Compared to western furs, kemono has much bigger eyes, less detailed faces, less pronounced snouts, bigger ears, and generally much softer style.

But yea sometimes they do have the problem of looking too much like a generic anime girl. Anime girls pretty much already have snouts, so sometimes kemonos can just look like an anime girl with fur and ears taped on
