I think it's just supposed to represent a rough day. Curling up in an oversized shirt/sweater/hoodie is a pretty common "girl wanting to feel wrapped up and protected" thing, as is cuddling with the big plushie/beanbag. The snacks strewn about look like candies (girly comfurt food, of course), but regardless of what they are, the slight uncleanliness shows that she's not very concerned about being tidy and proper right now. She's clearly unsure of saying her catchphrase, but isn't totally reserved and unresponsive. The burning laptop gives some insight into why she's upset, but doesn't specify a cause. Maybe her drawing tablet was acting up all day, maybe she got into a fight with an internet friend, or maybe she read something upsetting on a news website.
Truly a masterpiece.

You do need a Bachelor's degree and will likely soon need a teacher's certificate as well; the opportunity to get into teaching in China has longgggg passed - the population of people wanting to learn English in China has cratered. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're totally out of options like me.


Starting pay teaching English in a Chinese high school is enough fur a two-bedroom apartment in a tier II city. Granted, wages in China are all about how much you want to work. You can work little and make subsistence wages, or you can work your ass off and live in the 95th percentile in the country.
