Lately I've been working through Freedoom for the first time. There's one map in episode 3 that's really kicked my ass like 5 times in a row (I'm not pistol starting, but I like to only save at the start of the level for full-game mods. also i suck at doom). Also keyboard only, for the funsies.
Once I finish with the base games, I want to try playing some random maps/mods using Freedoom as a base, for the truly open source, free/libre fps experience.
