Well, I know I am not really in a position to be giving advice about how to art gud. But I like to take a sample of the main color then use the hue-saturation-value stuff to desaturate it and lighten it fur highlights, or desaturate it and darken it fur shadows. Fur the bit you've rendered in light green I'd probably acktchewally have started with a darker shade fur the broccoli floret part, but that's okay. I'm attempting to demonstrate using that color as an example. Make an irregular boundary between the lighter part and the shadowed part. I am assuming lighting from the upper right-ish. And then I use brushes to make little shapes of each area in the others, to break them up and give them a speckled sort of appearance, if that makes sense.
And I might, if I were feeling especially ambitious, try to make a partially transparent layer or three on top of it with black fur shadow and white fur light and maybe a li'l bit of Gaussian blur, because I'm lazy and not very good at this art stuff at all.
I try to leave the main color of whatever it is the same and use desaturated colors of the same hue fur both light and shadow fur shading. Just as the central item of interest in an image I try to do in brighter, more saturated colors, to draw the eye to them, and do the backgrounds in muted, desaturated colors to emphasize this.
Or if you are talking about the detailed texture of the broccoli florets, there is probably a Krita brush that does that. Or you could zoom in and use the round pixel brush in several sizes to make a dense area of very dark green flecked with lighter and darker dots, which is a lot of work. Maybe copy and paste that portion but when I try to do things like that it looks weird and bad. I think Krita can apply textures with the fill tool but I am not certain and probably not the best to ask about it. I am not very good at any of this. You draw far more gooder than me and it is probably very presumptive of me to try to answer questions at all here. I'm just trying to help, fren.

Perhaps Femcel is just a big believer in physical fitness. I get the impression that she's the sort of kot who respects asceticism and self-discipline, even if she can't always live up to her own ideals.
